Overview

The Partner Relationship Manager plays a crucial role in identifying, establishing, and nurturing connections with both new and existing partners within a designated region. This position focuses on fostering reseller collaborations and supporting the development of partner marketing strategies that significantly enhance brand awareness, product expertise, and revenue growth. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in sales, business development, and channel partnerships, particularly within the cybersecurity and managed services domains. A solid understanding of Managed Detection & Response, security consulting services, and third-party risk management is vital. A key component of this role is the ability to achieve results, especially in terms of finalized agreements with partners. The successful applicant must thrive in a small team setting and be capable of meeting objectives independently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a quarterly target list of resellers in the assigned area to achieve specified goals.
  • Identify and onboard new channel partners to enhance revenue across specific GoSecure offerings.
  • Empower partners, set and meet sales objectives, and manage other critical performance metrics.
  • Provide weekly updates on new registrations, reseller enrollments, pipelines, and revenue forecasts.
  • Create reports and deliver insights to resellers focusing on close rates, sign-ups, and overall performance.
  • Maintain accurate channel sales projections and regularly report progress to sales leadership and program stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain relationships with strategic channel partners to drive shared revenue, attract new clients, and sustain/expand existing partnerships.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, showcasing a track record of exceeding quotas.
  • At least 2 years in channel sales, with prior experience as a Channel Manager.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent education/experience.
  • Previous experience in marketing enterprise security technologies and a comprehensive understanding of the cybersecurity and managed security landscape.
  • Demonstrated success in sales, partnership development, and relationship management.
  • Exceptional organizational, sales, and leadership skills.
  • Strong territory management, prospecting, and hunting abilities.
  • Capability to engage in consultative sales, aligning business needs with product benefits.
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and adept in dynamic environments.
  • Proven skills in cold calling, funnel development, negotiation, and deal closure in competitive settings.
  • Demonstrated ability to finalize agreements and achieve results through partnerships.
  • Resourcefulness and innovative problem-solving capabilities are essential.
  • An established network within the designated region is highly desirable.
  • Willingness to travel regularly, typically around 20% of the time.
  • Exhibit a professional demeanor and maintain a positive attitude.
