Job Summary

This is a key role within Park Lawn Corporation, where you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to client families during their time of need. As a Funeral Service Coordinator, you will be the primary point of contact for families, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized support to client families, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout the funeral planning process.
  • Coordinate funeral services, including logistics, transportation, and arrangements.
  • Assist with the preparation and presentation of funeral services, including the setup and cleanup of facilities.
  • Ensure that all necessary documentation and paperwork is completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless execution of funeral services.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the funeral industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting (up to 30 pounds).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Funeral service industry experience.
  • Knowledge of funeral service software and technology.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
