Handyman/Woman - Maintenance and Repair Specialist

Floor Decor Inc. is seeking a skilled Handyman/Woman to join our team as a Maintenance and Repair Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing routine maintenance and repairs.
Key Responsibilities- Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, including contacting tradespersons for major repairs.
- Contractor Management: Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions.
- Appliance Repair: Perform minor repairs on appliances, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Team Supervision: Supervise other workers, providing guidance and support to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
- Routine Maintenance: Perform other routine maintenance jobs, such as painting and drywall repair, to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, physically demanding conditions, and exposure to bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to lift, carry, and maneuver equipment and materials, as well as work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Schedule: 35 hours per week.
