We are seeking a skilled Handyman/Woman to join our team at Sehaj & Diya Holdings Ltd. as a Maintenance and Repair Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks and minor repairs to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, drywall repair, and cleaning to maintain the appearance and functionality of our facilities.
- Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs as needed.
- Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of our facilities, ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard.
- Perform minor repairs on appliances and equipment to prevent downtime and maintain efficiency.
- Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
- Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas to ensure safe access to our facilities.
- Work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and deadlines to meet.
- Be physically demanding with frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling required.
- Handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs) as part of your duties.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Work Term: Permanent with a minimum of 30 to 35 hours per week.
- Work Language: English required.
