About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at ANDALOS HOLDINGS LIMITED. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and ensure that inventory levels are maintained to meet customer demand.
  • Ensure Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and take corrective action when necessary to maintain high standards.
  • Prepare Budgets and Reports: Prepare budget and cost estimates, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Communicate with Customers: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, and ensure that their needs are met.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and physically demanding.

  • Client Focus: Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to provide a high level of service to customers.
  • Efficient Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff and customers.
