The Sr. Account Manager / Account Manager, Commercial Services is a key role at FirstOntario Credit Union, responsible for delivering exceptional service to existing and new Business Members while embedding FirstOntario Business into the community.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities- Provide trusted advice and dedicated support to Business Members, driving Share of Wallet targets and increasing revenue.
- Manage and administer commercial loans within the portfolio, ensuring risk mitigating strategies are implemented.
- Oversee the sourcing, credit write-up, adjudication, and review of Commercial credit files, ensuring timely completion of annual reviews and reporting requirements.
- Identify areas of opportunity within sales targets and implement action plans to achieve annual financial targets.
- Make solid credit recommendations to supporting departments, including the Credit Department, Management Credit Committee, and occasionally the Board.
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in Business Administration, Commerce, and/or Economics, or equivalent industry experience.
- Four to six years' tenure in Business/Commercial banking or experience in Member-facing and/or Credit adjudication roles.
- Five plus years of experience in Commercial Real Estate underwriting, with Development and Construction underwriting considered an asset.
- Sales/business development experience in the Commercial banking industry.
