The Opportunity
This position is part of Abbott's Electrophysiology Division, which is advancing the treatment of heart disease through innovative medical technologies. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of patient device tracking data in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Process patient, product, and customer-related information for Abbott's implantable products, including data entry, scanning, and indexing in various databases.
Print and mail patient implant cards and materials, as well as update non-compliant returned/explant products in the internal database.
Extract and proofread weekly implant registration card printout activity, prioritizing rush patients and MRI cards.
Provide support to the QA Manager on various projects and tasks, and participate in the development and enhancement of the OUS PDT database.
Assist with recalls and advisories, and run reports as needed for hospitals, sales representatives, and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
College diploma and less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
Advanced knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
Strong data entry and organization skills, as well as time management and multi-tasking abilities.
Effective verbal, written, and presentation skills, with a focus on continuous quality improvement.
Familiarity with confidentiality requirements and Canadian Medical Device Regulations is an asset.
