The Opportunity

This role is part of Abbott's Electrophysiology Division, where we're advancing the treatment of heart disease through innovative medical technologies. As a Patient Data Tracking Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all relevant implantable devices are up to date in Abbott Medical Canada's Patient Device Tracking database, in accordance with the Medical Device Regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process patient, product, and customer-related information for Abbott implantable products on a weekly basis.
  • Update non-compliant returned/explant products in the internal database.
  • Process weekly implant registration card printout activity, including MRI cards and prioritizing Rush Patients cards.
  • Provide support to QA Manager on various non-complex projects and tasks.
  • Participate in the development, evaluation, and ongoing enhancement of the OUS PDT database.
  • Assist with recalls and advisories.
  • Run reports as needed for Hospitals, Sales Representative, and Internal Representative.
Requirements
  • College diploma.
  • Less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint).
  • Strong data entry and organization skills.
  • Time management skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Effective verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Maintains a focus on continuous quality improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 to 3 years' experience with data entry experience in a bilingual work environment handling patient health and customer information.
  • Bilingualism (English and French).
  • Previous experience in a medical device and/or cardiology field.
