We are seeking a skilled and experienced Culinary Professional to join our team at Bright Pearl Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and ensuring the cleanliness of the kitchen and work areas.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, following established recipes and presentation standards.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment, and ensure that inventory levels are adequate to meet kitchen demands.
- Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen and work areas, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Kitchen Operations: Assist in managing kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: 5 years or more of experience in a similar role.
- Work Setting: Restaurant or rural area.
- Transportation: Own transportation required.
- Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
- Client Focus: Provide excellent customer service and ensure that all dishes are prepared to a high standard.
- Flexibility: Be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
