About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at D.S.L. Broadway Food Limited. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our dining room and kitchen areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that high-quality dishes are served to our customers in a timely manner.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that their needs are met and they have a positive dining experience.
  • Operational Management
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food is prepared and served efficiently.
    • Supervise and check the delivery of food trolleys to ensure that they are stocked and ready for service.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Client focus: provide excellent customer service and ensure that customers have a positive experience.
    • Efficient interpersonal skills: communicate effectively with staff, customers, and management to ensure smooth operations.
    • Excellent oral communication: clearly and effectively communicate with staff, customers, and management.
    • Flexibility: adapt to changing situations and priorities to ensure that the dining room and kitchen areas operate smoothly.
    • Team player: work collaboratively with staff to achieve common goals and objectives.
    • Initiative: take the initiative to identify and solve problems, and to improve processes and procedures.
    • Dependability: be reliable and dependable in your work, and ensure that tasks are completed on time.
    Requirements
    • Education
      • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • Experience
      • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
    • Language
      • English language proficiency.
    Working Conditions

This is a permanent full-time position, working 35 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to relocate for this position.
