Learning Management Systems Administrator

BizTech College is seeking an experienced Learning Management Systems Administrator to serve a dual role with duties in learning management and instructional design. The ideal candidate will work with internal managers and subject matter experts to assess learning needs, determine learning goals, and implement digital learning solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Administer, support, and maintain online learning systems, including production, staging, and development in a SAAS environment.
- Develop and implement innovative solutions to integrate diverse opportunities and complex viewpoints.
- Execute plans for significant organizational or process change.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.
- Expertise in learning management systems (Canvas), data migration, student information systems (SIS), and higher education ERP solutions is highly desirable.
- Support and manage agile development cycles for eLearning development.
- Working knowledge of web and programming languages such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Evaluate and implement educational instructional technologies to achieve innovative outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with current and emerging technologies applicable to instructional and academic activities.
- Proficient in e-learning development using a range of authoring tools.
- Advanced knowledge of outcomes-based instructional design, adult learning theories, instructional design principles, and methodologies.
- Knowledge of UI and UX principles is an asset.
- Minimum a Bachelor's degree in Instructional Technology or a related field.
- At least 3 years of recent and relevant instructional design experience, including designing, developing, and implementing learning solutions for various delivery formats.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in Canvas LMS.
Hours of work will be assigned by the Mississauga Campus, Director of Admissions.
