TRIGO Global Quality Solutions is in search of a Quality Resident Liaison/Automotive Representative.

Position Type: Part-time

Location: Sainte-Thérèse, Quebec

This role is crucial for the success of TRIGO's Quality Resident Engineering operations. The primary objectives must be achieved to the highest standards to prevent official claims from the customer, focusing on both preventive and corrective measures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure customer satisfaction through technical support and assistance with quality concerns, enhancing the reputation of the contracted customer.
  • Establish and maintain a strong professional relationship with the customer at the plant level.
  • Act as the recognized representative of the contracted customer, capable of addressing production issues and building credibility through fulfilled commitments.
  • Facilitate open communication between the OEM and the contracted customer.
  • Propose enhancements to both the OEM and the contracted customer.
  • Quickly assess issues at the OEM's facility to identify solutions and prevent claims, while informing affected production plants to implement corrective actions.
  • Provide timely updates to the customer regarding the status and progress of existing claims.
  • Participate in customer meetings as necessary.
  • Continuously seek feedback, both formal and informal, regarding customer satisfaction with our products and services.
  • Regularly audit how the customer manages our products.
  • Stay informed and updated on technical and quality-related specifics through ongoing meetings and visits to contracted partners.
  • Report any projects or initiatives undertaken by competitors to the TRIGO Resident Liaison Manager.
  • Deliver regular reports to the dedicated team or contact partner of the contracted customer as defined by the supervisor.
  • Engage in prototype, pre-serial builds, line trials, launch support, and engineering changes at the customer as required.
  • Report internally to the TRIGO Country Resident Manager and externally to designated contacts.
  • Address customer requirements regarding technical changes and provide technical support.
  • Represent the interests of the contracted partner and the customer.
  • Coordinate repair and sorting activities on-site, ensuring that any sorting or rework is initiated only with written confirmation from the contracted client.

Required Skills:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in process and process controls.
  • Experience in identifying and implementing standardized work.
  • Background in process and product audits.
  • Knowledge of shipping and receiving operations.
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to guide teams.
  • Experience with sequencing automotive parts (preferred).
  • Tier 1 experience (preferred).
