This role is crucial for the success of TRIGO's Quality Assurance Resident Engineering division, with the following objectives to be achieved to the highest possible standards to prevent official claims from clients through both preventive and corrective measures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure client satisfaction by providing technical support, addressing quality concerns, and enhancing the reputation of the contracted client.
  • Foster a strong and professional relationship with clients at the operational level.
  • Act as the designated representative for the contracted client, equipped to handle production-related issues and build credibility through fulfilled commitments.
  • Maintain clear and direct communication between the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and the contracted client.
  • Propose enhancements to both the OEM and the contracted client.
  • Promptly assess issues at the OEM's facility to identify appropriate solutions and inform relevant production sites to implement corrective actions.
  • Provide ongoing updates to the client regarding the status and progress of existing claims as soon as possible.
  • Attend client meetings as necessary.
  • Actively seek feedback, both formal and informal, regarding client satisfaction with our products and services.
  • Regularly audit how the client manages our products.
  • Stay informed and updated on technical and quality-related specifics and industry topics through regular meetings and visits to contracted partners.
  • Be vigilant and report any initiatives or projects undertaken by competitors to the TRIGO Resident Liaison Manager.
  • Regularly report to the dedicated team or contact partner of the contracted client.
  • Participate in prototype, pre-production builds, line trials, launch support, and engineering changes as required by the client.
  • Report to the TRIGO Country Resident Manager internally and to designated external contacts.
  • Engage in client requirements concerning technical modifications and provide technical support.
  • Represent the interests of the contracted client.
  • Coordinate repair and/or sorting activities on-site, initiating any sorting or rework activities only upon written confirmation from the contracted client.

Required Skills:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in process management and controls.
  • Ability to identify and implement standardized work practices.
  • Experience in process and product audits.
  • Knowledge of shipping and receiving operations.
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to guide teams.
  • Experience with automotive parts sequencing (preferred).
  • Tier 1 experience (preferred).
