Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Domestic Tax group, you will be responsible for preparing corporate tax returns, working strategically with colleagues, and actively engaging in tax compliance, planning, and strategy development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare corporate tax returns, personal, partnership, and trust returns
  • Work strategically with colleagues across all service lines
  • Analyze client tax issues, relevant tax laws, provisions, and jurisprudence to develop tax compliance, planning, and strategy
  • Perform research into tax issues and opportunities
  • Complete a variety of tax forms
  • Communicate with the Canadian Revenue Agency (CRA) on behalf of clients
  • Meet and communicate with clients to deliver tax services
  • Prepare and review tax provisions

Requirements

  • CPA designation
  • Minimum of three years' experience in a professional services firm
  • Enrollment in, or desire to enroll in, the in-depth tax program
  • Understanding and prior experience working in Canadian corporate tax (preferred)
  • Client service and solutions focus, with excellent communication skills
  • Well-developed analytical and research skills, together with attention to detail
