Role Overview

As an Industrial Accounts Manager, your primary focus will be to expand our business by nurturing existing client relationships within a designated territory while also seeking new opportunities. You will work closely with our Technical Support Team to ensure we address customer needs with the most appropriate chemical solutions, applied safely and effectively to achieve optimal results. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients and contractors in selecting appropriate chemical products and application methods for Guardian solutions. Key markets include oil and gas well stimulation, tank and piping cleanings, heat exchanger maintenance, and industrial washing applications.
  • Expand the territory by identifying and pursuing diverse customer segments where innovative chemical approaches yield improved outcomes and enhance health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of client operations and collaborate on marketing initiatives to refine our product offerings and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Analyze and communicate chemical analysis reports to key stakeholders, including management and engineering teams.

Qualifications

  • Experience in technical chemical sales or related fields.
  • A proven history of acquiring new clients or significantly contributing to the profitable growth of a territory.
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills to foster internal and external relationships.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Self-motivated with the capacity to manage multiple tasks, balancing current client needs with growth objectives.
  • Positive demeanor with the ability to engage a diverse range of client contacts.
  • Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to engage in hands-on activities.
  • Strong organizational, planning, problem-solving, decision-making, and time management skills.
  • Physical capability to navigate stairs, ladders, and perform moderate lifting (up to 50lbs).
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Post-secondary education in Science or Engineering is an asset but not mandatory.
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to work at safety-sensitive client sites where drug and alcohol testing may be required.
