Dining Room Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dining Room Manager to join our team at Aspira The Barrieview Retirement Living. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our dining room, ensuring that our residents receive exceptional service and a high-quality dining experience.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the dining room budget and ensure that all expenses are within allocated limits
- Supervise and train a team of dining room servers to provide excellent service to residents
- Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that food and beverage standards are met
- Assist with meal planning and preparation to ensure that menus are appealing and meet resident dietary needs
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure that food is prepared and presented to the highest standards
- Monitor and report on dining room operations, including attendance, productivity, and customer satisfaction
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in hospitality or a related field an asset
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a retirement living or hospitality setting
- Valid Safe Food Handling and Smart Serve certification required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and vendors
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and resident satisfaction
