Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the dining room, including food preparation, service, and presentation.
  • Supervise and train a team of dining room staff, ensuring that they provide excellent service to residents.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve dining room efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to create menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents.
  • Manage the dining room budget, ensuring that expenses are within approved limits.
  • Monitor and report on dining room performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in hospitality, culinary arts, or a related field an asset.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a senior living or hospitality setting.
  • Proven track record of success in managing a team and improving operational efficiency.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and vendors.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
