Head of English Department

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced English Language Specialist to join our team of passionate educators at Universal American School in Dubai. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for leading our English department and developing innovative curricula that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
About the Role:
- Lead the English department and develop and implement engaging curricula that meet the needs of our students
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver professional development programs for teachers
- Develop and maintain relationships with parents and the wider community to promote the school's English language programs
- Contribute to the development of school policies and procedures related to English language education

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field plus a certified teaching qualification
- Experience leading a high performing English department
- TEFL/TESOL certificate or diploma preferred
- A creative and enthusiastic approach both in and out of the classroom
- Experience of teaching in a diverse, international school environment (desirable although not essential)
