Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Preventative Maintenance Coordinator to join our team at Holcim. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the high level of performance of our plant equipment by implementing maintenance procedures, methods, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety policies and procedures, and ensure all contracts and project sites meet Lafarge safety policy requirements.
  • Inspections and Maintenance: Perform safety inspections of equipment to ensure it meets required standards, and ensure planned inspections of all plant equipment and initiate work orders based on inspection results.
  • Preventative Maintenance Plans: Evaluate and improve preventive maintenance job plans, create and update inspection job plans, and ensure maintenance practices comply with Quality Insurance Standards.
  • Maintenance Optimization and Reliability: Optimize maintenance operations according to equipment availability and workforce, and contribute to the analysis of failures and problems, recommending corrective actions.
  • Budgeting and Planning: Assist with the preparation of maintenance budgets, ensuring technical justification of maintenance operations, and identify options to extend the life of plant equipment.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Technical degree in mechanics or vocational training, plus 5 years of experience in maintenance in an industrial environment.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Thorough understanding of Process Explorer (IP21), maintenance costs and budget, cement production process, computer literacy, problem-solving methods and tools, and knowledge of non-destructive testing devices.
