Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Preventative Maintenance Coordinator to join our team at Holcim. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the high level of performance of our plant equipment by implementing maintenance procedures, methods, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of maintenance plans to ensure optimal equipment performance and reliability.
  • Perform safety inspections of equipment to ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure the planned inspection of all plant equipment and initiate work orders based on inspection results.
  • Monitor and coordinate condition predictors for all critical equipment.
  • Track inspection-related KPIs to continuously improve the inspection process and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the condition of all plant equipment on a continuous basis.
  • Validate and update equipment specification files and history files.
  • Contribute to the analysis of failures and problems, recommending corrective actions.
  • Lead RCA initiatives for critical equipment failures to arrive at the root cause of the failure and develop associated action plans.
Requirements
  • Technical degree in mechanics or vocational training + 5 years of experience in maintenance in an industrial environment.
  • Fluently bilingual.
  • Good understanding of maintenance costs and budget and ability to make decisions taking into account equipment risks and budget constraints.
  • Knowledge of non-destructive testing devices and ability to collect and analyze vibration data.
  • Ability to interact with plant personnel and good interpersonal skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to make decisions, prioritize actions, and multi-task effectively.
