Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Preventative Maintenance Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the high level of performance of our plant equipment by implementing maintenance procedures, methods, and best practices. Your technical expertise will be essential in providing support for plant operations and ensuring the planning of maintenance operations to optimize resource utilization, equipment availability, and maintenance costs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safety: Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies and procedures, and ensure all contracts and project sites meet Lafarge safety policy requirements.
  • Inspections: Perform safety inspections of equipment, ensure Inspection Routes and Job Plans include Safety Inspection, and initiate work orders based on inspection results.
  • Preventative Maintenance Plans: Evaluate and improve preventive maintenance job plans, create and update inspection job plans, and maintain in-depth knowledge of equipment condition.
  • Maintenance Standards and Execution: Ensure maintenance practices comply with Quality Insurance Standards, organize Major Maintenance Turnaround and Shutdown inspections, and maintain equipment information.
  • Maintenance Optimization, Root Cause Analysis, and Equipment Reliability: Ensure systematic review and optimization of lubrication programs, optimize maintenance operations, and contribute to the analysis of failures and problems.
  • Budgeting: Identify options to extend equipment life, assist with maintenance budget preparation, and ensure technical justification of maintenance operations.
Requirements
  • Technical degree in mechanics or vocational training + 5 years experience in maintenance in an industrial environment.
  • Fluently bilingual.
  • Good understanding of maintenance costs and budget, cement production process, and computer literacy, especially SAP.
  • Problem-solving methods and tools, understanding of cause and effect relationships, and knowledge of non-destructive testing devices.
