Job Title: Preventative Maintenance Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Preventative Maintenance Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the high level of performance of plant equipment by applying maintenance procedures, methods, and best practices. This role will involve implementing action plans to improve reliability and maintenance practices, providing technical expertise for plant operations, and ensuring the planning of maintenance operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safety: Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies and procedures, and ensure all contracts and project sites meet Lafarge safety policy requirements.
  • Inspections: Perform safety inspections of equipment, ensure Inspection Routes and Job Plans include Safety Inspection, and initiate work orders based on inspection results.
  • Preventative Maintenance Plans: Evaluate and improve preventive maintenance job plans, create and update inspection job plans, and maintain in-depth knowledge of plant equipment condition.
  • Maintenance Standards and Execution: Ensure maintenance practices comply with Quality Insurance Standards, organize Major Maintenance Turnaround and Shutdown inspections, and maintain equipment specification files and history files.
  • Maintenance Optimization, Root Cause Analysis, and Equipment Reliability: Ensure systematic review and optimization of lubrication programs, optimize maintenance operations, and contribute to the analysis of failures and problems.
  • Budgeting: Identify options to extend the life of plant equipment, assist with the preparation of maintenance budgets, and ensure technical justification of maintenance operations.
Requirements:
  • Education and Work Experience: Technical degree in mechanics or vocational training + 5 years experience in maintenance in an industrial environment.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Thorough understanding of Process Explorer (IP21), maintenance costs and budget, cement production process, computer literacy, problem-solving methods and tools, and knowledge of non-destructive testing devices.
