About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at NearSource Technologies. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our software solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Software Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software components that meet business requirements and industry standards.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, QA, and DevOps, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software solutions.
  • Problem-Solving: Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum system availability.
  • Cloud Computing: Leverage experience with cloud-based technologies, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), to design and deploy scalable, secure, and highly available software systems.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement within the team.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • Experience: Minimum 7 years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on leadership and technical expertise.
  • Technical Skills: Proven expertise in object-oriented programming, Java 8, Spring Boot, and containerization technologies like Docker.
  • Cloud Computing: Experience with cloud-based API platforms, backend systems, and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
