Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at New Punjab Sweets and Restaurant Ltd. as a key member of our culinary operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring efficient and effective food service operations.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction.
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Operations and Administration
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing accurate and timely reports to management.
    • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys, ensuring seamless and efficient food service operations.
  • Team Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of 1 to 2 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure the success of the team.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Work Environment
    • Restaurant environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Physical Demands
    • Standing for extended periods, with the ability to lift and move objects as required.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff, customers, and management.
    • Efficient and effective time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Working Conditions
  • 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts as required.
