Job Summary

The Portfolio Manager - Women's Transition Housing & Supports (WTHS) Program is a key role at BC Housing, responsible for administering funding and working in partnership with service providers across the province to deliver WTHS Programs. This position provides consultation and support to the Boards of Directors and Executive staff of Non-Profit Societies, focusing on effective management and delivery of core services and financial oversight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer funding and work in partnership with service providers to deliver WTHS Programs
  • Provide consultation and support to Boards of Directors and Executive staff of Non-Profit Societies
  • Develop and maintain relationships with service providers and stakeholders
  • Monitor and report on program performance and financials
  • Provide advice and assistance on program management and financial budgeting
  • Build and maintain partnerships with community stakeholders and service providers
  • Conduct reviews and audits to ensure compliance with program requirements
  • Manage multiple issues and projects, and coordinate with senior management

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, social services, public administration, or a related field
  • Considerable experience in program administration, social services, and community-based programs
  • Experience working with Non-Profit Societies and contracted community service providers
  • Strong knowledge of program management, financial budgeting, and contract management
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work in a unionized environment and manage multiple priorities
