About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Scotiabank's team as a Portfolio Manager, Pricing Optimization. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and assessing portfolio trends, providing timely insights, and developing financial models to measure business performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and evaluate portfolio trends to provide ongoing insights and recommendations
  • Develop and apply financial models to measure business performance and optimize pricing strategies
  • Collaborate with the Product Team and Finance to drive business growth and profitability
  • Manage and maintain portfolio models for business analysis and pricing exceptions
  • Support the design and development of new analytics and reports to inform business decisions
  • Manage ad-hoc assignments and special projects to drive business results
  • Monitor and track exception trends and competitor offers to inform pricing strategies
Requirements
  • Related post-secondary education or MBA preferred
  • Multiple years of experience in the financial services industry
  • Experience in product P&L management, finance, and/or business analytics
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Project management skills to prioritize and manage competing initiatives
  • Advanced skills in using Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint
  • Working experience with SAS/SQL preferred
