We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Radiation Technologist to join our team at Quinte Health. As a Medical Radiation Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our imaging department.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate X-ray, radiographic, and fluoroscopic equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Operate magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners to produce detailed images of the body's internal structures.
- Apply radiation protection measures to ensure patient safety and minimize exposure to radiation.
- Perform basic verification and quality control checks on radiographic and film processing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Record and process patient data accurately and efficiently.
- Provide excellent patient care and monitoring during examinations, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Certification of the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
