Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Technologist, Medical Imaging to join our dynamic team at North York General Hospital. As a key member of our Medical Imaging department, you will be responsible for performing imaging examinations in General X-Ray, ensuring high-quality images and excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform imaging examinations in General X-Ray, adhering to established standards and protocols.
  • Operate imaging equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and radiologists to ensure seamless workflow.
  • Assist with patient preparation, positioning, and imaging procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to departmental policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).
  • BCLS certification an asset.
  • Post-graduate experience in a hospital setting preferred.
  • Membership with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) recommended.
