About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Imaging Technologist to join our team at Sinai Health. As a key member of our Medical Imaging Department, you will be responsible for performing medical imaging procedures, operating and troubleshooting medical imaging equipment, and preparing written and electronic reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform medical imaging procedures, including CT scans, to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Operate and troubleshoot medical imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Prepare written and electronic reports, documenting all procedures and test results.
  • Participate in teaching, educational, research, safety, and quality improvement programs.
  • Perform other related patient care responsibilities to facilitate optimal patient care.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited degree or post-diploma Radiological Technology program.
  • Certificate of registration in the specialty of Radiography from the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
  • Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) program, Level II: Basic Rescuer certification.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Level 2 and 3 CT certification.
  • Membership with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
