About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Imaging Technologist to join our team at Sinai Health. As a Medical Imaging Technologist, you will be responsible for performing medical imaging procedures, operating and troubleshooting medical imaging equipment, and preparing written and electronic reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform medical imaging procedures, including computed tomography (CT) scans
- Operate and troubleshoot medical imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance
- Prepare written and electronic reports, documenting all procedures and test results
- Participate in teaching, educational, research, safety, and quality improvement programs
- Perform other related patient care responsibilities to facilitate optimal patient care
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited degree or post-diploma Radiological Technology program
- Certificate of registration in the specialty of Radiography from the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
- Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) program, Level II: Basic Rescuer certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Level 2 and 3 CT
- Membership with the CAMRT
