Job Summary:

The Medical Radiation Technologist will be responsible for operating various imaging equipment, including X-ray, CT, MRI, and mammography units. You will work closely with our radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient patient care. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential in this role.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Position patients for imaging procedures and ensure their comfort and safety
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals and other medications as required
  • Record and process patient data, including medical histories and imaging results
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient patient care
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to maintain high standards of patient care
Requirements:
  • Certification from the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
