Operations Vice-President: Strategic Leadership and Resource Allocation

SOL METALS & PAPER RECYCLING LTD is seeking an experienced Operations Vice-President to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and efficiency across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction and guidance to senior staff and departments, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and policies.
- Resource Allocation: Allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs, ensuring effective use of resources and maximizing business outcomes.
- Departmental Establishment: Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions, ensuring seamless integration with existing operations.
- Regional Coordination: Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments, fostering collaboration and driving business results.
- Financial and Administrative Controls: Establish financial and administrative controls, formulate and approve promotional campaigns, and approve overall human resources planning, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Policy Formulation: Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs, ensuring alignment with business strategy and goals.
- Representation: Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions, promoting the interests of SOL METALS & PAPER RECYCLING LTD.
- Staff Selection: Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff, delegate the necessary authority to them, and create optimum working conditions, ensuring the effective execution of business objectives.
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficiency in MS Office and MS Word.
- Security and Safety: Bondable.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work under tight deadlines, attention to detail, and handling a large workload.
- Personal Suitability: Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Work Term: Permanent.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 35 hours per week.
