Low Rise Warranty Supervisor

Strong skills in customer service, administration, documentation, and conflict resolution are essential. This position requires on-site presence, as it is not accessible via public transportation.

The Warranty Supervisor will report directly to the Warranty Manager and will be responsible for:

  • Delivering exceptional customer service
  • Coordinating with the Site Supervisor to ensure seamless communication between construction and warranty
  • Overseeing the on-site warranty team, including monitoring attendance and productivity
  • Conducting interviews and training for new team members
  • Performing assessments and ensuring clear communication on follow-up actions
  • Familiarizing with all site responsibilities and processes
  • Stepping into various roles as needed
  • Submitting weekly orders for site materials and ensuring accuracy
  • Assessing model home maintenance as required
  • Reporting staffing concerns or escalated issues to management
  • Collaborating with trade partners, site staff, and homeowners
  • Managing electronic files and tracking systems for productivity reporting
  • Identifying recurring issues and proposing improvements to processes
  • Utilizing critical thinking to resolve employee or customer issues
  • Evaluating warranty claims based on established guidelines
  • Reviewing and approving costs for non-warrantable repairs
  • Ensuring compliance with construction performance guidelines
  • Completing additional tasks as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • In-depth understanding of new home construction terminology
  • Familiarity with the Ontario Building Code is advantageous
  • Experience in new home warranty processes and Tarion guidelines
  • Proficient in English with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced computer skills, including email and spreadsheets
  • Highly organized with a focus on tracking and reporting
  • Excellent customer service abilities
  • Positive leadership and team support skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
  • Possession of a personal vehicle is required
