Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Bella Coola General Hospital. As a Registered Nurse with Vancouver Coastal Health, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients/clients on the inpatient ward, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care and promote a culture of safety and quality.
- Participate in education and training programs to enhance your clinical skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to the development of our healthcare team through leadership and mentorship opportunities.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Completion of a recognized advanced nursing program in emergency or critical care nursing, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Broad knowledge of nursing theory and practice within a client/family-centered model of care.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
