About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Coordinator to join our team at the B.C. College of Nurses and Midwives. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing our technology infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of our systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technology Infrastructure Management: Manage and maintain our technology infrastructure, including Active Directory, user licenses, and user access and permissions.
  • Software License Administration: Assist with the planning, administration, monitoring, and auditing of software licenses and related documentation.
  • User Support: Respond to support requests related to licenses, user access, and onboarding and offboarding of users.
  • Access Management: Manage access rights for users to internal and external systems, perform regular audits, and create and deactivate application accounts for incoming and outgoing users.
  • Process Improvement: Identify operational issues and provide options and recommendations for resolution and/or optimization, and identify and develop automations to support process improvements and efficiency gains.
  • Training and Development: Work closely with the Learning and Development Specialist to ensure appropriate user training is coordinated when deploying new systems, tools, or processes.
  • System Maintenance: Assist with performing system maintenance work and support infrastructure projects as needed.
  • System Launch: Assist with the launch of new and updated systems, tools, technologies, and processes.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Ensure continuous learning and knowledge sharing regarding infrastructure technologies and technology tools specific to the organization.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or college diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
  • IT Certifications: Related IT Certifications in Office 365, preferably also in Azure.
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years experience as an IT Coordinator with experience working with Microsoft licenses.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with Office 365, Active Directory, Entra ID and Exchange, PowerShell, Power BI, Power Query, and Python.
  • Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills, including technical writing skills, demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across the organization, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent attention to detail.

We offer a competitive salary range of $75,308 - $78,663 annually, depending on a variety of factors including qualifications and experience.
