We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized professional to deliver Human Resources and administrative support to a rapidly expanding financial risk management organization.

This position is ideal for an individual with prior experience in a similar capacity who is eager to embrace greater responsibilities and advance within a dynamic environment. This role will be instrumental in our North American operations as we continue to expand.

You will become part of the corporate team, primarily located in the UK, and will report directly to the Head of Human Resources. Your responsibilities will encompass office management, administrative tasks, event coordination, corporate administration, and HR-related functions.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Comprehensive management of our Toronto office and remote assistance for New York operations.
  • Providing HR support to our North American branches.
  • Front-of-house duties as the initial point of contact for all visitors.
  • Managing all incoming calls.
  • Overseeing meeting room and desk booking systems.
  • Offering administrative support across all departments.
  • Updating and organizing corporate documentation.
  • Maintaining office supplies and equipment.
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards within the office.
  • Facilitating the onboarding process for new employees.
  • Assisting in the planning and execution of company events and training sessions.
  • Handling incoming mail, couriers, and deliveries.
  • Managing meeting room and facility logistics, including setting up conference calls, providing refreshments, IT support, and addressing other general requests.
  • Collaborating closely with HR, Events, Corporate Executive Assistants, Finance, Marketing, and IT departments, this role will serve as a generalist position and presents a fantastic opportunity for someone to oversee full office operations.

To excel in this role, candidates should possess relevant professional experience in human resources, operations, or related fields.

Experience within the financial services sector or fintech is advantageous. We are looking for an individual with strong stakeholder and vendor management capabilities, along with the ability to think strategically and identify areas for enhancement. Excellent interpersonal skills and experience in people-centric roles are essential.

Key requirements include:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in an operations or people-focused role.
  • A Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Outstanding communication abilities.
  • Capability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Willingness to manage and execute various office administrative tasks.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and finding solutions.
  • Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Experience in a small company setting.
  • Proactive, punctual, and dedicated.
