Job Title: Floor Covering Installer

We are seeking a skilled Floor Covering Installer to join our team at Maple Ridge Carpet One Center 2014 Ltd. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for installing various types of flooring, including carpeting, hardwood, and resilient floor coverings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered
  • Prepare flooring plans and scheduling
  • Measure, cut, and install carpeting and resilient floor coverings
  • Prepare and install hardwood floors
  • Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants
  • Install carpeting on walls or other surfaces
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, and specifications
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the trade
  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Ability to handle heavy loads
