Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Privacy Analyst to join our team at CB Canada. As a Privacy Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and responding to privacy requests and inquiries, investigating and resolving privacy impacting incidents or complaints, and performing additional miscellaneous duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and respond to privacy requests and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Investigate and resolve privacy impacting incidents or complaints, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Perform additional miscellaneous duties and responsibilities as assigned by your supervisor, including data analysis and reporting.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience as a privacy analyst, fraud investigator, or similar position.
  • A solid understanding of Canada's privacy framework, laws, and applicable regulations.
  • Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) is considered an asset.
  • Proven ability to deal with confidential matters and maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to document processes, write summaries, and reports.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
