We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Sales Engineer to join our team at Corel. As a Senior Sales Engineer, you will play a key role in driving sales growth and revenue by providing technical expertise and support to our customers and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed product demonstrations and provide in-depth technical assistance to potential customers.
  • Take ownership of Proof of Concepts and ensure they are completed on time and meet customer/partner requirements.
  • Actively participate in the design, implementation, and support of our products.
  • Provide guidance, recommendations, and expert advice on technical issues.
  • Maintain an advanced understanding of our products and related competitors' products.
  • Develop project concepts and project proposals to solve customer needs and requests.
  • Work with Account Managers, Sales Management, and Channel Partners to effectively schedule the use of technical resources to support selling efforts.
  • Coordinate all activities related to technical sales support for potential customers and existing accounts.
  • Plan and conduct technical training sessions and webinars, both online and at Channel Partners and Customers.
  • Mentor and assist in training Sales Engineers, new hires, and the sales team as required.

Requirements:

  • A competitive mindset and desire to compete with industry leaders.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in Sales Engineering for a product operating in the same domains as ours.
  • Hands-on experience in at least one, though preferably more, of the following technologies: Parallels RAS, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop, VMWare Horizon, Microsoft RDS, or Azure Virtual Desktop.
  • Deep knowledge and experience with Microsoft Remote Desktop Services - TS/RDSH/Application/Desktop and VDI Publishing.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of IT infrastructure solutions relating to Systems, Network, and Security.
  • Experience in cloud computing platforms mainly in Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS.
  • Ability to perform product demonstrations and presentations to technical and executive audiences.
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to create technical documentation.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and training skills.
  • At least 3 years' experience in Sales Engineering or as an IT Engineer role.
  • At least 3 years' experience in implementing and/or administering applications and desktops virtualization systems.
  • At least 3 years' experience in cloud-based computing.
  • Openness to travel annually.
