Position Overview

The Culinary Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the food service team, ensuring that high standards of quality and efficiency are maintained.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or equivalent non-university program lasting 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: Training will be provided; equivalent experience is also acceptable.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve work schedules.
  • Supervise and coordinate the tasks of staff involved in food preparation and portioning.
  • Provide training to staff on their roles, sanitation practices, and safety protocols.
  • Assess the ingredients and supplies needed for meal preparation.
  • Recruit food service personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with quality control standards for food and service.
  • Prepare financial budgets and cost projections.
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste.
  • Compile and submit operational reports.
Supervision

Responsible for overseeing a team of 3-4 individuals.
