- Inventory Management: Estimate and manage the ingredients and supplies necessary for meal preparation.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all food and service meet established quality control standards.
- Customer Relations: Address and resolve customer complaints and concerns promptly.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock levels, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit detailed reports on operations and inventory.
- Order Preparation: Compile food order summaries for the chef.
- Culinary Knowledge: Possess a strong understanding of the culinary styles relevant to the establishment.
- Scheduling: Develop and manage work schedules for the team.
Responsible for overseeing a team of 5-10 individuals.
Safety and Security- Must be bondable.
- Basic security clearance is required.
A valid driver's license is necessary for this position.
Work Environment- Fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Physical demands include a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with extended periods of standing.
- Strong client focus and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional oral communication abilities.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a team setting.
- Availability for shift or on-call work.
- Legally able to work in Canada.
- Willingness to relocate if necessary.
- Proximity to the job location.
- Previous experience in the food service industry.
- Highest level of education completed.
Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset. This is a permanent position requiring 32 to 40 hours of work per week.
