Culinary Team Lead

Famstr Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our food service operations.
Key Responsibilities- Operations Management: Develop and implement efficient methods to meet work schedules, ensuring seamless service delivery to our customers.
- Team Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food preparation and service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional service standards.
- Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles.
- Inventory Management: Estimate and manage ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring we maintain high-quality standards.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet our quality control standards, addressing any issues promptly and effectively.
- Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring their satisfaction.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth.
- Culinary Knowledge: Possess in-depth knowledge of our culinary genres, ensuring we deliver exceptional dining experiences.
- Scheduling: Establish work schedules that meet the needs of our business, ensuring adequate staffing levels at all times.
- Government Programs: Famstr Ltd is a recognized employer, supporting social and labour market integration of newcomers and refugees.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: We provide access to community resources, language training, and skills training to support their integration.
- Support for Youths: Our on-the-job training program is tailored to youth, providing them with valuable work experience and skills.
- Support for Indigenous People: We develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations.
- Work Language: English
- Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
