About the Role:

The Project Coordinator is a key member of our team, responsible for coordinating translation projects and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining exceptional quality standards. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting and assisting with the entire project cycle, including project setup, coordination with clients, matching and coordination of translators and other linguists, and delivery
  • Coordinating and tracking project pricing, profit margins, and budgets
  • Responding to and providing solutions for client queries and requests before, during, and after project completion (in coordination with the project manager)
  • Improving customer service, efficiency, and relationships with resources
  • Continual product improvement through the management of client translation memories, glossaries, and guidelines, and monitoring linguistic team performance to ensure quality and consistency
  • Coordination with our Translations AI development team to help our technical developments in the field of translations AI

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary degree in translation or a related field
  • 2-3 years of previous work experience as a project coordinator within the translation industry
  • Fluent (excellent written and spoken skills) in English and French
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office and Google Work applications
  • Superb planning and organizational skills with the ability to multitask
  • Excellent communication/customer service skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment
  • Strong sense of personal responsibility for projects and responsibilities
  • Tech-savvy (passionate about technology and implementing it to the translation world)
  • Experience with translation management software and translation memory software (Plunet / Memsource)

Work Arrangements:

  • Monday to Friday, 10:00 am – 6:30 pm EST (Eastern Standard Time - Eastern North America)
  • Remote work arrangement
