We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Facilities Strategic Planning and Land Development to join our team at Fraser Health. As a key member of our Facilities Management senior leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership for the planning and development of our facilities and land assets.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and oversight in the planning and day-to-day operations of services to drive operational excellence and ensure consistency with Fraser Health's strategic plan.
- Act as a member of the Facilities Management senior leadership team and contribute to the effective direction of the department.
- Implement and monitor short and long-range goals in support of the strategic plans in alignment with organizational and provincial strategic plans and principles.
- Develop and implement operating budgets, including budget preparation, authorization control, and reporting of expenditures, ensuring the efficient utilization of financial resources.
- Manage the financial resources to meet initiatives, goals, and targets of the strategic and operating plans.
We are looking for a candidate with a Master's degree and ten years of recent related experience, including six years of senior management in Real Estate and leadership roles in a large multi-site organization. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated working knowledge of appropriate legislation, by-laws, and relevant laws and provincial/national standards.
The successful candidate will also have proven senior facility project management expertise, including the ability to manage in areas such as legal contracts, real estate/market transactions, property management, and First Nations Consultation.
