Job Summary

Fraser Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Director, Facilities Management Projects. This position is responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction across Fraser Health for site planning, business case and feasibility study development, implementation of approved capital projects, and standards and principles development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and strategic direction for site planning, business case and feasibility study development, and implementation of approved capital projects.
  • Develop and maintain standards and principles for facilities management projects.
  • Liaise with senior leaders in Fraser Health and external stakeholders to represent the organization's interests.
  • Oversee the recruitment and professional development of employees.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and budgets for facilities management projects.

Requirements
  • Master's degree and professional designation in a relevant discipline.
  • 10 years of recent, related experience in progressively more complex and senior management, leadership roles in a large multi-site organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to align optimal building technologies with evidence-based design, industry best practices, and healthy & sustainable environments.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of facilities development including planning, design, construction, contract management and procurement within current municipal, provincial and national standards, codes, bylaws and regulations applicable to health care.
