Job Summary

Fraser Health is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Facilities Management Projects to lead the planning, design, and construction of healthcare facilities across the organization. The successful candidate will provide strategic direction and oversight to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and direction to the Facilities Management team to ensure the successful delivery of projects
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for facilities development, including planning, design, and construction
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational priorities and goals
  • Manage and oversee the development of project budgets, schedules, and resource plans
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to inform strategic decisions
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as architecture, engineering, or business administration
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in project management, with a focus on healthcare facilities
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
