Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Canadas Best Value Inn & Suites. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hiring and Training: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties efficiently.
  • Coordinating Activities: Oversee and coordinate the daily activities of the cleaning staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard and on time.
  • Assisting Cleaners: Provide support and guidance to cleaners as needed, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and equipment to perform their duties effectively.
  • Coordinating with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Establishing Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules for the cleaning staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent oral communication skills, strong judgement, and reliability
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • Work Language: English
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week
