We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Housekeeper to join our team at Super 8 Castlegar.
Job SummaryThe Executive Housekeeper will be responsible for overseeing the housekeeping operations, ensuring that all areas of the motel are clean and well-maintained. This includes supervising housekeeping staff, coordinating activities, and maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Select and purchase equipment and supplies to maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization.
- Plan and coordinate activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews to ensure efficient and effective cleaning.
- Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas to ensure compliance with safety standards and departmental policies.
- Supervise and train housekeeping staff to ensure they meet the highest standards of cleanliness and customer service.
- Maintain accurate inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms to ensure that all staff have the necessary resources to perform their duties.
- Schedule and assign duties of housekeeping staff to ensure that all areas of the motel are clean and well-maintained.
- Ensure that local health and sanitation regulations are carried out to maintain a clean and safe environment for guests.
- 1-2 years of experience in housekeeping or a related field.
- Dependability, flexibility, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
