Guest Services Agent

The Silver Hotel Group is seeking a highly skilled Guest Services Agent to join our team at Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Ottawa Kanata. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a positive first and last impression of our hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide warm and friendly service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage guest registrations, room assignments, and check-ins/check-outs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Handle guest inquiries, provide directions, and offer recommendations on local attractions and services.
  • Work closely with hotel departments to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, adhering to hotel standards and brand guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Previous customer service experience, preferably in a hotel front desk position.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and team members.
  • Computer literacy in Word and Excel, with experience in FOSSE PMS an asset.
  • Results-oriented and flexible, with the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and able to problem-solve, initiate action, and complete projects with minimal supervision.
