Job Summary

Capital Ford Lincoln (Winnipeg) is seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive business growth. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to meet or exceed monthly and yearly targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Provide guidance, training, and support to the sales and finance teams to ensure they meet or exceed monthly targets.
  • Inventory Management: Collaborate with other Sales Managers to determine the optimal inventory mix and develop strategies to maximize sales.
  • Customer Service: Ensure the sales team maintains high standards of customer service, display, and performance.
  • Expense Management: Review and monitor departmental expenses to optimize profitability.
  • Recruitment and Performance Management: Oversee the recruitment, performance management, recognition, and termination of dealership personnel.
  • Forecasting and Planning: Work with the General Manager and Sales Manager to develop monthly and quarterly forecasts.
  • Program Implementation: Implement and monitor Capital Auto Group and factory programs and policies.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Ensure all necessary documentation is kept and recorded to standards.
Requirements
  • Experience: Retail sales management experience in the automotive industry, preferably with a proven track record of success.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to recruit, select, train, coach, and develop a team.
  • Goal Setting: Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
  • Customer Focus: Ability to drive an exceptional customer experience.
  • Organizational Skills: Proven organizational and time management skills.
  • Technology: Experience working with technology with efficiency.
  • Driver's License: Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
